MY Konjac Sponge Activated Bamboo Charcoal Facial Sponge Review
As a former dancer, I spent years putting on stage make-up. Sometimes it was more than once a year and it had to be heavily applied. One of the worst things that could happen is you'd look paler than you are onstage because your foundation wasn't dark enough or on enough. Stage lights loved to change your skin tone. MY Konjac Sponge is one of the best volanic rock and water sponges on the market. It's 100% natural & biodegradable and after our test run yesterday our household loves it!
The sponge itself out of the packing was a bit hard, but after it went under the water it softened up. My husband tried it last night not using any soap and the results were awesome. Both of us have very clogged nose and cheek pores due to our own skin and oil issues. We had just been discussing a couple of days before about getting some Biore strips of some kind to try to clean out the pores, but my husband expressed his concern. There was a rumor of those strips not only tearing your skin off but pulling the pore out of your skin so this was a fantastic switch. He used it in the shower with hot water, and when he came out his skin was softer on the face, there was no oil left over and his pores were opened! I loved to see that the oil and dirt build up was gone, you can see where his pores were open from the build up but nothing is there now! Once they close, his skin will be so much cleaner and healthier! Let's be honest, a man will not let you put a picture of their skin up on a review so just take my word for it, haha.
One thing I'd like to add to the review is that there is a fake version of this sponge out on the market, that was even accidentally advertised under the official Amazon account for My Konjac Sponge. As you ca see on the left, the correct sponge has smaller holes/pores and is larger as well as lighter in color. So make sure when purchasing your own you do not get the fake one! I definitely recommend this sponge to anyone who is like me and wants to get their pores cleared of dirt and oil but they don't want to "rip" it out!
